Passes Away.

from our UK Branch -- The Secretary of the UK Branch of AAIIL (Mr. Shahid Aziz Sahib) reports: 21 September 1999 Begum Razia Faruqi, daughter of Hazrat Dr. Basharat Ahmad, author of Mujaddad-i Azam and sister of Nasir and Mumtaz Faruqi sahibaan passes away. At 10 minutes past midnight, she left us to meet her Lord and Maker, INNA LILLAHE WA INNA ILAIHI RAAJIUUN. This day was also her birthday. She was born in the year 1909, so attained the age of 90 years. For many years she had been praying for forgiveness and her most dearest wish and desire was that may Allah forgive her sins and award her a place at the feet of her beloved father Dr Basharat Ahmad, author of Mujadid-e-Azam, who must be in the company of Hazrat Mirza Sahib. Members of the jamaat are requested to pray that the Lord, Most High, shower her with His unlimited mercy. Arrangements are being made to have her body released and flown to Lahore, inshallah. While in the UK she was a regular visitor and speaker at the jamaat's functions so long as her health allowed. She lived some distance away from Dar-us-Salaam in London and some times spent several hours in travelling on public transport to get to meetings. She has done her duty and kept to the baiat she took, may Allah bless her for so doing. May He also grant her family the patience to bear their loss with fortitude for surely the soul, well pleasing and well pleased has returned to her Lord. Her funeral prayers will take place at Dar-us-Salaam London on Saturday before the body is flown to Lahore for burial. Shahid Aziz. [Please
