On behalf of Her Majesty the Queen, Maulana Jaggoe was personally decorated by Mr. Brouwers, the Major of Utrecht, during a stately session in the Townhall, where the merits were solemnly summed up of the ordained Maulana Jaggoe, now in his 87th year and still dedicating himself to the community. Later on, he received a letter from the Queen containing the deed of decoration. Years ago, while still in Suriname, at that time a Dutch territory, Jaggoe Sahib had already received a royal decoration of a lower order. Mr. A.S. Abdul Santoe congratulated Jaggoe Sahib on behalf of Hazrat Ameer and the whole Ahmadiyya Movement. The

A
royal tradition in the Kingdom of the Netherlands has it
that each year, on the occasion of Queensday on the
30th of April, citizens who are deserving
well for the country are decorated. This year,
Alhamdolillah, our Maulana Abdul Raheem Jaggoe from Utrecht
was ordained with the RIDDER
IN DE ORDE VAN ORANJE NASSAU
(the Knighthood of the Order of the House of Oranje Nassau,
which is the name of the Royal family).
